Splash Flash - The Site For Sailors

Rino Nieuwelink, president of the International Splash Organization, Robert Sledziewski , intermediary between Roel Wester and the Polish Sailing Association and Roel Wester, builder of the Splash, were invited to Poland to attend a meeting of the Polish Association and more than 70 trainers. They were asked to make a presentation of the Splash.
During this meeting a Splash and a Flash were displayed and the SKON presentation was shown.
The Polish delegation was impressed by both the Splash and the presentation and they agreed that, from now on, the Splash will sail the Polish waters. It will be recommended to young sailors after the Splash.

Already at the Splash World Championships 2001 Polish boys and girls will be competing. And at the Easter event in Sneek there will be Polish helmsmen in the Splash.
Next Year Dutch Splash sailors will be invited by the Polish Association as part of an exchange program. More information about this as soon as possible.

The Polish association was also interested in the Flash, as the other classes that can be sailed after the Splash are usually too expensive.
