Splash Flash - The Site For Sailors | News - Polish sailing association embraces Splash

At the past Easter event for Splash and Flash at Sneek, with over 140 starters, the Polish Sailing Association was represented by a group of their members in order to get to know the Splash class. The Polish helmsmen sailed nine new Splashes made available for promotion purposes by FR Visie of Zwanenburg.
Yacht clubs can collect these new Splashes at Grouw and use them for promotion of the Splash and the Flash as a contribution to youth sailing in The Netherlands. For transport a triple road trailer is supplied.
Roel Wester has lent three of these Splashes to the polish sailors for training and participation in the Open Dutch Championships 2001 to be held on the 24th to 27th of May.
Nine Polish sailors have already promised to be there. There will also be Polish sailors taking part in the World Championships in France.
In the meantime the Polish Sailing Association and the builder are negotiating the purchase of, no fewer than, 40 new Splashes.
