In addition to Roel Wester BV and Leerdammer there will be two new sponsors of the Splash World Championships 2001. Koninklijke Wagenborg together with Van der Stoel will take care of the transport of 50 World Championships Splashes to Carnac, France.

For these championships there are already more foreign entries than took actually part in the World championships at Stavoren last year.
