Last week a meeting was held by the organising committee in Britain with the organising yacht club and the RYA to reach a judgement of the complaint of the SCIA concerning the amount to be insured. The Notice of Race stipulated that every competitor needed an insurance policy for at least £ 2 million. It has been agreed that the third party insurance which is sufficient in one's own country will also be accepted for the 2002 world championships.
