You
may or may not have heard about “Vaarwelkom”, the upcoming event in Grou
on October 1&2. In either case, the Vaarwelkom weekend is the closing
event of the Splash/Flash season of 2005 and it is not to be missed. A
variety of activities will keep you entertained during this weekend when
the Pikmeer and the Wijde Ee will be teeming with Splashes and Flashes.
In the evenings, it’s party time since this event is meant to be a
festive farewell to the 18-year old Splash sailors, and an as festive
welcome to those who will join the Flash class next year.
This time the Farewelcome Weekend is going to be an international affair
with participants from Germany, Sweden, Poland, Great Britain, Belgium
and of course, the Netherlands.
This leaflet will provide you with the necessary information about the
event and an entry form. We look forward to meet you in Grou!
Regatta Information:
Entry fee: 20,00
euro
You can enter through the
SKON website
or send a message to
wedstrijden@splashclass.org.
The number of participants is limited and if this limit is reached, no
more entries will be accepted. So don’t wait too long or you‘ll miss
out. You should bring the confirmation of your entry with you as
verification.

in Grou.
First start
Saturday, October 1: 11.00

Before you go to the check-in at the youth hostel, it would be wise to
bring your boat to

hostel. As it is impossible to book directly, this is the only way to
book there.

the appropriate box on the entry form. Please note that there is an
extra charge for the lunch.

Sunday alone.
Please be careful to
indicate the right option when filling in the entry form. The number of
